Terms

Last updated 27 August 2026

Plain terms for a small product. Using Moldingflask means agreeing to these. If you disagree with any of it, do not use the service.

Beta

Moldingflask is in beta. It is free, it will change, and things may occasionally break. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. We will give notice before introducing paid plans, and nothing you have already created will be locked behind one without warning.

Your account

Your content stays yours

You own what you write. Publishing a prompt grants us only the permission needed to run the service: to store it, show it to the people you chose to show it to, and display it on Discover and on your profile if you made it public. We do not claim ownership and we will not sell your prompts.

Making something public also lets other members read, copy and use it. That is the point of publishing, and it cannot be undone for copies already taken. Making it private again stops future readers, not past ones.

What is not allowed

How moderation works

Any member can report a prompt. When we act on a report, this is what happens.

If you think a decision was wrong, email us. There is no formal appeals process yet, which we would rather say plainly than imply otherwise.

Ending it

You can stop at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or close an account that repeatedly breaks these terms, or immediately where content is illegal or someone is being harmed. Where we can give notice first, we will.

No warranty

Moldingflask is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, that recommendations will suit you, or that prompts you find here will work for your purpose. Prompts are text written by other people; judge them yourself before relying on them.

Changes

These terms will change as the product grows. Significant changes will be announced rather than slipped in.
